Less reliance on marine protein in New Zealand Chinook diets

The New Zealand King Salmon Company, the world’s largest producer of Chinook salmon, obtained excellent results with diets containing only 8% fishmeal. Growth in all trial groups equalled the best summer commercial performance, with fish doubling in size from 800g to 1600g.
